Special Treats With Tartar or Plague Control

Hi,

I believe there are quite a number of such treats that claim to have the capability to control plague or tartar.

Well, based on my observation, most of them are crunchy biscuits so it may work on the basis of friciton, and have some polishing effect on the teeth when they chew on the biscuits. So typically, we give them such a treat in the evening before we sleep; like brushing their teeth....?
I believe the biscuits sort of delay the accummulation fo the tartar or plague so we still buy them as treats for our dogs but I think that they are not effective in removing any deposits accumulated on their teeth. I just take it as preventive or maintenace in dental care for the dogs.

Here are photos of such treats that we have bought for our dogs and they love it.

There is even an image of a toothbrush to indicate that it is for tartar or plague control....!

For this Denta stick, there is also an image of the toothbrush but also a statement at the bottom of the package, that it helps to control tartar and plague....
